What is a zine?
A zine is a small-batch, self-published, non-profit collaborative magazine made by a group of fans and artists of a specific fandom/character.What is this zine about?
FULCRUM is a fanzine focused around the character Ahsoka Tano, celebrating anything and everything regarding the character and all her various appearances.What sort of content will be in this zine?
Art pieces, Writing (such as, but not limited to Poetry and Short Stories), figure/cosplay photography, physical merchandise and more! This will largely depend on the applicants of course.
The Content will be SFW (16+, no smut) with canon-typical levels of violence. Only canon-established relationships will be featured in this zine, the zine will not include any outright shipping, but it can definitely include many familiar faces Ahsoka has come across in the canon!Is this zine for profit or non profit?
Non profit, with the proceeds going to a charity chosen by our moderator team later in the production process.Will the zine be physical or digital?
Both! The Zine will have a physical bundle, and a digital bundle available.What will the contributors get in return?
Each contributor will, at minimum, receive a free digital copy of the zine.Depending on how the production and sales go, we hope to provide each contributor with a physical copy of the zine as well.Can anyone apply to be a contributor? Is any past zine experience needed?
Anyone can apply, and no experience is needed! The applications will be evaluated based on portfolios and pitches.Is there an age requirement for the Zine?
This Zine will require all Moderators and Contributors to be 18+.What is your stance on AI Art/Art Scraping?
AI generated images and/or writing will NOT be tolerated within the Zine or Discord server. Please refrain from sharing any AI created works.
If a Contributor is discovered to be using AI in their piece, they will be removed from the Zine.
